It is now more than two months since the end of the 2019 Golden Glow Convention held in Lancaster PA.  Prior to the convention I had emailed all members with a shocking revelation revealing a decades long corrupt and fraudulent number of sales by several members.  I posted damning and conclusive evidence of fraud showing work done on Christmas items that were mixed and matched and worked on with replaced fabric, eyes, hands or other parts and then sold as antique and original.  Tagliapietra even had a “made in germany” stamp made up to use on the re worked items.

As of today two months later NOTHING has been done to investigate the corruption and it looks like nothing will be done. The BOD continue to support the fraud and cover up the fraud.  They are gutless enablers.  They continue to cover up and try and suppress the evidence.

And these charges are separate from the sexual predator charges and the fact that the BOD continues to support a convicted child molester as a “lifetime” honorary member in good standing.  . Pathetic but true.

Joey Zinn worked for Scott Tagliapietra for years repairing and replacing Santas and other items.  He has supplied photos of Scott’s “workshop” that I posted online and he has in his possession all the photos of all the work that he did for Scott. I have posted ways in which one can tell if an item they purchased was manipulated.  Joey Zinn has informed me that “hundreds” of items were faked. 

The work done was so good however, that customers who included some of the most knowledgeable collectors in the world got duped.  I have received several requests from customers asking if they could supply me with photos of what they purchased to find out if the pieces were fakes. Many were.

A secondary fraud was uncovered by me involving kugels.  I have posted that report online. The truth is this has been going on for decades.  Scott Tagliapietra sold me 40K worth of kugels many of which were worth $5ea sold to me for thousands of dollars. I went to India and got the proof.  He was a friend of the well known doll dealer, Richard Wright who went to India and bought thousands of fake Indian kugels and sold them as originals from Germany. As did another dealer from England, Lawrence Cooper who used Jim Morrison as his agent in the US to sell the kugels. I purchased one of the fakes Morrison sold to Ruth Riege who sold it to me. I paid her $500 dollars for a kugel I purchased in India for $3. 

  In 2007 Kim Knight, Michael Rhoads, Steve Wilt, Jack Maroski, Lillie Ghidiu, Tony Annese and Steven Daniel the board members in 2007 tried to destroy my reputation with their illegal and criminal actions. They decided to make up a bogus story that I had cheated “many collectors over several years” and cancelled my membership. They provided no evidence and provided no witnesses or names. They never spoke to me or sent me letters regarding any complaints by members.  It was a total con job. I was getting too close to the corruption.  They violated club rules and constitutional laws. They got away with it because I was in Asia and the statute of limitations ran out. If they want to make the same complaint today they will need a lawyer.

I have called all of them corrupt criminals. Frauds. Not one of them has even ever threatened to sue me. And they won’t because they would have to perjure themselves in court or admit it was a con job. 

All of these allegations and charges etc are discussed by me in detail in my posts.  So yet again, while there are hundreds of wonderful members the truth is the BOD could care less if members get ripped off by criminal dealers. 

Over the years tens of thousands of dollars of bogus items have been sold to unsuspecting buyers and the crooks will continue to rip off members since the BOD are either part of the corruption or total cowards in not investigating the corruption. 

The sad truth is buyers are at risk because the corrupt dealers know the BOD does not care about corruption and they will continue to rip off the buyers with fake items.

People you would never suspect as being frauds are in fact crooks in the Club. 

These idiots have pretty much destroyed the club anyway, The reasons the club was started have pretty much been muted. It used to be that no items prior to 1945 could be brought to the convention. Those were the real antiques. Politics and corruption destroyed all that.  Most old timers are long gone from the good old days.  Now, you can bring garbage from today to sell and display. Sad.  

I will not stop my attacks on the club until the Board investigates the bogus charges made against me and re-instates me in good standing with an apology. The Constitution of the US says we are all entitled to face our accusers. But not with the corrupt Golden Glow Club.
