Bob Kubicki of Ohio one of the founding members of the Golden Glow of Christmas Past Club has been caught apparently selling a stolen "Christmas Rarities" book.

A very well known major Christmas Ornament collector from Ohio told me that she purchased the book from him for $225. In fact, that is how the individual contacted me through my book.

When I heard about it I tried to contact Kubicki 4 times. I contacted his home and business phone numbers and sent him two emails asking him to contact me. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt but he never made any attempt to contact me.

The book that he sold was brand new and since I never sold him a new book where did he get it from? As I have stated over and over again 1000 of my books were first stolen and sold by the corrupt business person, Linda Raymond who owned the "Book Distributors' warehouse to another corrupt South Bend IN businessman named David Matthews who has been selling the books to books stores and dealers all over the US for many years now.

Last week someone actually sent me a photo of my book for sale in Europe for $1200US. The book has been for sale on Ebay and Amazon for anywhere from $400-$700 US. 

I only sold my book on Amazon and several hundred to Barnes and Nobel back in 2008. Amazon sold out in 2010 and I never shipped them any more. So any book being sold as "new" had to have been one that was stolen.

Bob Kubicki now joins the long list of corrupt Golden Glow members and dealers ripping off members and others.

Even Bob Merck apparently sold fakes. He for sure posted on Ebay the fake German WWI helmut which he had to know was a fake. 

The Glow has been run by corrupt Board members for years. They have all been aware of the fraud and corruption but looked the other way because they are all a part of the same little pack. They have been covering for each other for decades. 

They stole photos from collectors on their websites and used them for their magazine breaking copyright laws (Michael Rhoads, a complete brain dead idiot and sexual predator sent me an email saying because it is a private club they don't have to honor copyright laws; never challenged the pre-market sales they knew about; threatened members who disagree with them (they just kicked out a 25 yr member without cause just for crititcizing allowing Dept 56 to display their worthless junk at the last convention); they've lied for years about all the theft that goes on at the conventions (bad image); the sexual assaults and worst of all they allow at least one convicted sexual predator to remain a member in good standing, in fact he is a lifetime member in good standing. (Preying on children is not a expulsionary violation I guess but criticzing the board is an automatic expulsion). They have blacklisted people, libeled and slandered people. 

The irony is Scott has ripped off most of the corrupt bigwigs in the Club over the past two decades. Bill Steeley got taken for 10K, Monica Lathem told me she got ripped off for 10K (but got her money back); and many many others according to his ex partner.

Bob Kubicki, Scott Tagliapietra, Bill Steely, Bobbi Taylor, Craig McManus, Jack Maroski, Joey Zinn, Kim Knight, Lillie Ghidiu, Michael Rhoads, Scott Tagliapietra, Steven Daniel, Steven Wilt, Tony Annese are all part of the corrupt Board or ex Board member cover up team. 

I would suggest anyone purchasing any ornaments from him to check out the paint very thoroughly first.

The Great Kugel Scam is going strong.

 Well, I haven't written much about the Golden Glowless Club in awhile but it's time to expose them again. For the past couple of years a very well know kugel collector has been selling very rare amethyst grapes online and elsewhere for thousands of dollars. The only problem is they are fakes. I'm not talking about the fake 12" grape molds that have been selling ever since Scott Tagliapietra and Jim (Mr Santa Claus) Morrison began selling them in the 1980"s but these are generally the 6" and up grape molds. 

This person over the years became one of the major Kugel collectors in the World because he had deep pockets and always won the auctions. But he had financial and other problems and he learned how to insert silvering in the old kugels that had no silvering and sold them as original.

Worse, he started making fake molds in Amethyst a very very rare color and has been selling them for years.

 The crooks in the club know who he is but they don't care. A lot of them are the same crooks who outed me from the club when I tried to expose the frauds: Kim Knight, Michael Rhoads, Steve Wilt, Jack Maroski, Lillie Ghidiu, Tony Annese, Steven Daniel and Craig McManus all knew of the fraud.

 The crooked Board members for years have looked the other way when one of their own sells fakes. They protect each other.  

Craig McManus surely knows who he is but as usual he stays quiet just like he did when I found out that Tagliapietra was selling fake grape kugels back in the day. (Read an earlier post of my trip to India).

So, I would steer clear of any Amythest grape kugels. On the other hand I have the only known 7" green berry for sale. Email me for better photos if interested at jlightner1@gmail.com. (sold)

The first photo shows 8 1/2" fakes grape kugels I bought from Scott Tagliapietra that are fakes worth $5 ea that I found in India; the second photo is a fake from India someone bought from the crook, Richard Wright estate a few years ago. Scott was a good friend of Wright's and visited him often where he and others would joke about how they had all suckered clients in to buying mis matched Santas etc etc.
